Where purpose becomes practice

Impact

A place for leaders and organisations to pause, think clearly and move purposefully forward.

Why purpose matters

Purpose-driven organisations operate in a distinctive environment. Their leaders must attend not only to results, but also to values, relationships, trust and the communities they exist to serve.  The line from purpose to practice has the potential to change lives and improve communities.

I am particularly drawn to working with people who carry this kind of responsibility. Whether the conversation concerns an individual challenge, a team relationship or an organisational question, purpose provides an important point of orientation and motivates action.  After all, that's why we get up in the morning.

Services

Executive coaching
Leadership can create little room to pause. Coaching provides a confidential and supportive space to step back, explore what is happening and decide how you want to respond. Our conversations will be reflective but practical. Rather than giving you a prescribed answer, I will listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and help you identify insights and next steps that are genuinely your own. Coaching may be arranged as a single focused session or a series of conversations over an agreed period.

Facilitation
Important conversations can become difficult when the issue is complex, perspectives differ or participants are closely involved. Independent facilitation creates the structure and space a group needs to listen well, think together and make progress. Each engagement is designed around the group’s purpose, people and context.

Strategic alignment
Purposeful organisations need to continually monitor their activities to ensure they remain mission-aligned. A stewardship review, strategic review or evaluation methodology can provide leaders and boards with the evidence required to ensure they remain effective and true to purpose.

My approach

Stillpoint Strategy provides an integrated suite of services from individual coaching through to organisational reviews, giving leaders of purpose-driven organisations the intelligence they need to make confident, values-aligned decisions.

My approach is calm, reflective and practical. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions and create the conditions for honest exploration. The aim is not to supply a ready-made answer, but to help people draw on their own knowledge and experience, recognise possibilities and identify an achievable way forward.

Every leadership situation is different. From executive coaching through to facilitated conversations and mission alignment reviews, I tailor the space and approach to the individual, group or organisational context. Contact me for an initial free conversation to see whether Stillpoint can help.

FOUNDER

I work with leaders, emerging leaders, boards and teams who want to think clearly, navigate change and move forward with purpose.

I began this work in the British National Health Service where I worked with primary care teams to examine and improve clinical practice. Since then I have held leadership roles that have given me first-hand understanding of the responsibility leaders carry: balancing people, purpose, performance and sustainability while making decisions in complex environments.

The consistent thread through my career has been alignment of intention with outcomes, using evidence to inform planning, change management and practice improvement. My doctorate explored values and identity in for-purpose organisations, work that informs how I approach leadership, organisational culture and the relationship between stated purpose and everyday practice.

My own journey has included unexpected career changes, international relocation, and the need to redefine my goals at different stages of life. These experiences have strengthened my resilience and given me practical insight into navigating change and uncertainty as well as finding joy along the way.
